i am so tired of seeing stories of people saying come on a 3 mile run with me, when i get winded walking up the stairs.
i’ve never been a runner but i’ve been practicing getting up my skills with simple, but engaging workouts that make the time pass and not make me want to die.
TODAY’S AGENDA (treadmill/outdoor)
20 mins - Run/Walk
3:30 warm up walk; make sure you stretch during this walk by pulling your knee into your chest, stretch out your calves and hamstrings
1:00 run at your own pace. for me this is probably the equivalent of a jog for most people but whatever pace will keep me going! this will take some trial and error!
1:00 walk and recover! deep breaths through your nose and mouth
x3 (1 min off, 1 min on)
after the last 1:00 off
1:30 run, again at your own pace. try to speed it up a bit, but if you can’t do whatever you have to to keep a constant pace!
1:30 walk, RECOVER AND BREATHE!

after the last 1:30 off, take another 30 seconds for a total of 2 mins!
LAST EFFORT
2:00!!! this one will be challenging but you can do it!!
2:00 walk and stretch!
I am combining this with a 10 minute walk because i didn’t make it home fast enough and then will finish with pilates!
