first time doing GEL X at home with MODELONES

HAPPY FRIDAY FRIENDS!! I finally tried doing my own gel x nails at home for the first time & I am so impressed with how these turned out! They definitely aren’t perfect && it took me 3 hours lol, but I had so much fun and it’s worth it to save all the $$$ I would’ve spent at the salon 💅🏻

To create this look, which is my take on the trendy chrome nails, I used the MODELONES new vinyl record solid cream gel polish and the MODELONES gel nail kit (almond tips). The starter kit comes with everything you need: 500 tips in 10 sizes, a portable mini lamp, nail prep dehydrator & glue, nail clippers, and nail file.

I’ve always been pretty bad at painting my nails, but the solid gel polish was so easy to use and went on like butter!! & a little goes a LONG way with these. On the 3rd slide, I show you which colors I used to get the chrome effect: light pink base layer topped with white shimmer layer.
