ITE IS NOT THE END…

Here’s why ITE is not the end but in fact the start of my learning journey!

Backstory: I didn’t do well for my PSLE and got streamed into NT class😭. Though i did well in my N(T) levels and got a chance to retain and go into a NA class, i rejected and proceed to the ITE route. I enrolled into ITE College East in Nursing!

Many asked why i joined nursing but that’s another story for another time 😋

I did well in ITE and applied for EAE to Nanyang Polytechnic. I even got to skip a year therefore i was only in NYP for only 2 years to achieve my diploma! My grades were average but i still tried my luck to apply for university🎓 [NUS & SIT]. Fortunately, i got accepted into SIT and my university life started then~

University was really tough for me as i was balancing a locum nursing job and a full time degree student. Not forgetting the whole covid phase 😵‍💫. Nevertheless, i finished my 2 years with SIT-UOG and got my bachelor’s degree with honours in Nursing! 🎓👩🏻‍🎓🥹

Currently: i’m working full time as a Staff Nurse in the hospital 🏥 and striving 🥹

i feel that even after 6 years of nursing school, there’s still so much to learn!!!
