Scams are indeed happening everywhere, and what struck me the most was what the police said: "People have two hearts - greed and discontentment."

Why do some people with high education and intelligence easily fall for scams? It's often because of greed and discontentment. They always feel like they haven't received enough or deserve more, and that's why these scam groups can easily manipulate people's minds and lead them astray.

Watching this movie made me reflect on how I almost fell for a scam myself. It was probably last year when I was looking for ways to make more money. I happened to come across someone on a platform, I can't remember if it was Little Red Book or some other platform, who said they could teach us about investment. They claimed that all you needed was a starting amount, maybe it was 300 Malaysian Ringgit (I can't remember the exact amount), and then they asked you to download an app that was supposedly an investment option app. They would also invite you to join a group. At first, someone would guide you on how to operate it, and you quickly recovered your initial investment and could even withdraw it.

However, the next step involved someone telling you that in order to win a certain amount, you had to deposit a larger sum and have a specific teacher guide you. These so-called teachers would only be interested in earning commissions from your deposits. It sounded fine, and people in the group chat would occasionally say thank you to the teacher for helping them win a certain amount, even providing bank receipts.

But my instincts told me it wasn't that simple. it sounds quite fishy instead. Besides the initial investment, they said I couldn't withdraw any other earnings without making more deposits. Moreover, I couldn't find any details about this company online, and the more I thought about it, the more suspicious it seemed. So, I deleted it!

I'm very glad that I resisted my curiosity and greed. If I had believed them, I wouldn't have known the consequences. That's why I've never trusted any "investment" from an unknown source.

Please, everyone, make sure to use government-certified platforms and don't easily believe in get-rich-quick schemes. Don't let greed ruin your future! One thing the scam groups said is true - if it weren't for people's greed, they wouldn't have any opportunity to exploit, right?
