get rid of your bumps with this PAINLESS facial

The last time I had a facial was November last year and clearly, my skin is super deprived of a pampering session!! If you’re a north-eastie like me 🙋🏻‍♀️ I have a recommendation for you!!

I decided to try out Skin Health Aesthetics because I heard great things about them and a few lemon8 girlies also had such great things to say about their service and results!

👧🏻 About my skin

Skin type: Oily-dry combi skin!

Skin concerns: Blackheads, sensitive & red skin around my nose area and scarring on my chin from my occasional PMS hormonal acne 😮‍💨

💕 First impression

The place wasn’t hard to find, it was located right beside Potong Pasir MRT and just take exit C and turn right (don’t walk in the mall, just walk along the mall) and you’ll find it! When I first stepped in, I found the place very clean and quiet! I was given a form to fill up my skin concerns, list down my allergies and other procedures I’ve done prior to my session ✍🏻 After I was done, the therapist guided me to the room where I changed into a robe and lie on the bed 🛏

🧖🏻‍♀️ The room

Honestly one of the things that makes a girl rlly happy is when they spot a nice big mirror that’s perfect for selfies 😂 Yes, they have one!! Trust me, I took a million pictures before I indicated to the therapist that I was ready cos I’m a vain pot 📸 Of course the room was spacious and CLEAN (this is so important!!). I love the all white and minimalistic aesthetics. It’s not too cluttered with equipments and machines which can give off a messy vibe (something I noticed from other salons) 🥴 They even have a sink in the room for the therapist to wash their hands/clean you up etc so it reduces the risks of contamination as they don't have to walk in and out the room 😖

💆🏻‍♀️ Service & experience

Yes, you read it right!! The extraction was PAINLESS!!! I’ve heard sooooo many horror stories about people’s extraction experience and it always ends with lots of pain, blood and tears. That was NOT the case for me!! They steamed my face first so that it will help to open up my pores which made the extraction process PAIN-FREE! 🥰 I did the Ultra Calming Therapy!

Some days I’m just a naturally chatty person and my therapist, Levin, was rlly friendly and I had an enjoyable chat with her!! She walked me thru the entire process, warned me every time she’s about to apply something cold on my face so I won’t get a shock. She also shared with me pictures of her doggo named Chocolate 😍

🍵 After the session

I was provided with a cup of warm red dates tea and I loved it 🥹 I really regret not getting a second cup y'know!! I was super shy to ask for one 🙈 I loved that there was NO hard selling, she just shared with me some of the other services they provide and entertained my questions. She also shared that this outlet is actually their second outlet and the first one is located at Toa Payoh! I left the place feeling super satisfied with GLOWY skin ✨✨✨✨
