Hike in East TN.

Signal Mountain in Chattanooga,TN. This specific hike is called Edwards Point Trail, 4.3 mile round trip hike ( All Trails app will tell you 3.8) 764ft elevation gain (felt like 300ft gain tbh). Not bad at all. I would highly recommend this hike for this view!

The parking lot at the head of the trail is small & fills up fast. We actually made the mistake and didn’t realize we jumped an hr ahead from Nashville, so we arrived around 10am & couldn’t find parking.. so we did kill some time at a coffee shop called Mayfly. Great coffee! After coffee, we drove back to the lot and 2 spots had become available.

With all that being said, I would suggest doing this hike earlier & for obvious reasons, #1 guaranteed parking, #2 cooler weather in the morning, #3 breakfast & coffee after. Even at 10am the hike is fun!! Because the parking lot is small, it does control the amount of people on the trail which is honestly brilliant to me because everyone likes to hike and have the view/trail to themselves….
