Must-Eat Famous Peanut Ice-cream Roll in Taipei

A trip to Taiwan is definitely not complete without trying out one of the signature food - Peanut Ice Cream Roll. You can find this in many night markets in Taiwan, but this one that I’m recommending really exceeds expectations. ❤️‍🔥

🍦 Tiramisu Peanut Ice Cream Roll

💲NTD$100 (~SGD$4.40)

They are very famous for this Tiramisu option, and is also the only store in the whole of Taiwan to offer this option. They even went on television and was featured on various media outlets for this! However, I wasn’t the biggest fan of this. Unless you are a huge chocolate fan, the chocolate and cream taste may be a little too overpowering. There also was alcohol content in this. Overall the taste is indeed very strong, and you can consider sharing this with 2-3 people so its not so overwhelming. 🥹

🍦 Normal Peanut Ice Cream Roll

💲NTD$60 (~SGD$2.65)

For the normal ice cream roll, we could choose our ice cream flavours and we chose the Taro and Black sesame. What also makes this place stands out is that their ice cream are all made in-house, and are with higher cream content. This means the ice cream are more dense and creamy!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEIR TARO ICE CREAM! 😭💜There are actual bits of taro in the ice cream, which elevates the favour as you bite into it with the roll. Compared to all the other stores which I’ve tried before, this really stands out and deserves a 10/10. 💯 Plus…. Their portion here is also much bigger than any stores elsewhere. 🔥

💭 In all, their normal peanut ice cream roll where you can choose your ice cream flavours are already very good - TARO is a must-get. 🫡 If you’re a huge chocolate fan, then go for they tiramisu option!
