Feng Chia Night Market is definitely not the best in Taichung, Taiwan. THIS! THISSS - Hanxi Night Market needs to be your on list if you’re visiting Taichung. Only opened from Thursday to Sunday, this night market really gives off Bangkok’s Train Night Market vibes, because it’s PACKED with people. 😂

1. Pineapple Ice (凤梨冰) 🍍

Probably the only night market in Taiwan with this???? A recipe that has been passed down from decades ago, this is one that deserves the queue for. I didn’t queue for long (~10 minutes) as they are pretty fast!

It isn’t super sweet, but super refreshing especially with all the heaty food that you’re going to have in the night market. A must-try must-drink definitely. 💯

2. Garlic Tofu 蒜香豆干🧄

This is also a very rare find and also one of the most popular stores in the night market itself. I don’t think I have seen this around in other night market, if I’m not wrong. 🫣

What’s the game changer here? The garlic sauce that’s a little spicy, and comes with tons of garlic bits and spring onions— garlic + spring onion lovers, you must get this! 😮‍💨

Also the holes within the tofu are also larger, so it helped absorbed more of the sauce into the tofu. Making every bite, JUICY~ ✨
