Famed $14 Fish Soup in SG - Is it Worth A Go?

You definitely have heard of this fish soup place located in many shopping malls, and probably also heard of the price point. A whopping $13.80++ for just the fish soup, and $17.80++ for a fish soup set. I needed to try for myself how good this actually is, so here’s my honest review on it! 😮‍💨

Besides fish, you also get some seafood (whole prawn, clams) which adds up to the price point. Beside, fish slices were also thicker than places outside, using red grouper fish which is a better quality fish than your hawker centres definitely. The broth of the soup is indeed rich and thick, which I enjoyed a lot. I chose brown rice vermicelli, which was already soaked in the soup broth when it came. 🫡🙌🏻

💭 Overall, I would say it’s definitely worth a go, despite its higher price point. You’re paying for the ingredients that you don’t find in your normal fish soup, the accessible location to meet with your friends, and the comfortable ambience. I definitely see myself heading back here for a good, not too expensive dinner date! 👍🏻💯
