One of the Best Bakeries in SG - A Must-Go!

There’s so many bakeries up and coming in SG. But few are able to breakthrough and last through the years. Bakers bench is one of the few and today I finally gave them a try. My honest unfiltered thoughts below~ 👀

🍔 Chicken Brekkie Sourdough

10/10 man. This was a favourite for both my friend and I. It’s so hearty - not jelat, not oily, but just a simple brekkie burger (chicken patty, omelette, but with an amazing SOURDOUGH BURGER BUN). Sometimes the simpler the food is, the better it is. 😮‍💨

🥐 Hazelnut Twice-Baked Croissant

Another 10/10!!!! DUDE — this is probably the best croissant I’ve ever eaten in my life. It’s SO. DARN. GOOD!!!! If you’re a hazelnut fan, give this a try and you will definitely not be disappointed. 💯🫡🫡

🥦 Broccoli Camembert Flatbread Sourdough

This in fact paled in comparison to the other two counterparts. There wasn’t anything in particular that stood out to me, and in fact the dish was overly too doughy, and too little ingredients even for a vegetarian dish. Wouldn’t get this again. 😔

💭 Overall, definitely do drop by and give this place a visit if you’re looking for quality yet affordable bakes. They tend to get pretty crowded during lunch time so try to avoid that period unless you want to be in the waiting line. 🥲🙊 Besides that time period, you get to enjoy your pastries in a quaint cozy environment, just like I did! 🥰
