If I’m Having a Lazy Day, I Might Probably Be Here

Nestled among the north-east Serangoon neighbour is this small 2 storeys cozy cafe. I actually did not expect much from the food since I stumbled upon this place. But wow the food does have a good standard!

The Aburi Mentaiko Salmon Don had a strong umami taste and they were super generous with the mentaiko, so YAY! Would look to get this for sharing again in future as the mentaiko sauce does get a little jelat after a while. But still gooood. 🙌🏻

Whereas the Beef Cheek Pasta was surprisingly good too. The beef was really TENDER, melting into our mouths at each bite. Would recommend if you’re looking for a more hearty option. 😮‍💨

I was surprised by the Wakoucha Latte, which looked and tasted quite like a Hojicha Latte, but it’s actually black tea latte. 🫣They got it from Niko Neko so you know it’s gonna be a 100/100. Yes, it’s SUPER GOOD ✨, the just right level for a tea latte. I think it’s the first and only cafe in SG that serves this (?), at least for now.

The portion size of the drinks are super worth the price too, so just getting a drink to laze and chill the afternoon away is a great idea too.

On a lazy day, I would love to be lazing here.
