💍 hiring a PG for proposal - yes/no?

Proposals nowadays do seem to have a few themes going on. From what I see, some of the popular set ups include:

✨ Hotel Proposal

✨ Proposal on an overseas trip

✨ “We are going to an event” surprise proposal

✨ Extravagant and professional set-up by official vendors

✨ Simple set ups by friends and family, who also stay behind to witness the long awaited “yes”.

I had my own list of “do not want to have” that I gave my partner, and left the rest entirely up to him. Out of everything (and as much as my heart aches for his wallet), i’m really thankful he got us a professional photographer because I got to look back on all these beautifully taken photos. Our photographer, Wei Lun from @twogatherpictures, was great at directing us for our first ever professional photoshoot and made us feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera. I felt more like a kid going out to play than actually having a photoshoot 😂

Furthermore, while I was very resistant to having a lot of (unfamiliar) people at the proposal, Wei Lun’s friendly personality instantly made me feel like he was like an old friend and he was never in the way of any intimate moments 🥰

So, all in all, I really appreciated having these professionally taken photos - which I can also use for my wedding! This was extremely helpful because my partner and I are very lazy at taking photos of ourselves and the number of photos we have together is just very… sad. 🥶
