I went to Sephora a few days ago because I was on the hunt for new Rare Beauty blushes. According to Sephora these are their best seller primers so today I’ll be giving you my thoughts on it.
I usually only use primer when I want my makeup to last all day or if I’m going to a special event but most days I only do skin prep.
Starting off strong with the Milk Hydro grip primer, it retails for $38. If you want your makeup to hold and last through everything you need to try it. It has a sticky consistency and it literally glues the makeup to your skin! For my oily and sensitive skin I give this 10/10 , you get a lot of product for the price and it works wonders.
Second one is Mattifying primer by Milk, retails for $36. I personally don’t enjoy a matte makeup even though I have oily skin. It has a thick consistency but what I don’t like about this primer is the smell of it, it’s too strong for me personally. In my opinion I give it 6 out of 10, if you’re fine with fragrance on your products then go for it but as soon as I felt the scent it was a no for me.
Last one is by Laura Mercier Pure canvas primer it retails for $47. It doesn’t have any strong scents to it and it seems to be a good primer but in my opinion you can find something similar for a cheaper price. My final rate for this one. Is 7.5
Have you tried any of them?
