The aftermath of: Hurricane Helene in SC

In terms of Hurricane Helene, it was disastrous. The storm was able to come through the Carolina’s and destroy homes, trees, power, food, etc. This goes out to the other states such as Georgia & Florida. The entire district has had a power outage, leaving no running fridge, no hot water, no lights, and no ac. The school district decides to close school for the whole week until they are able to keep up to date with all of their students and staffs. It’s very hard to find food cause in terms of our refrigerator, we can’t store any cold food, but it saddens me that most grocery stores have to throw away their refrigerated food. For the past 5 days I still don’t have power. I was able to go to North Carolina and get a generator but who knows if I get power or not. My heart goes on to the families that lost their homes from property damage/ flooding, to the families who struggling to eat more responsive meals, and to everyone to be safe. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray that everyone’s safety comes first. Amen
