- Schedule screen-free breaks. You can reduce your screen time by introducing regular breaks on work days and longer screen breaks on your days off. If you’re working, set an alarm every 30 minutes to take a screen break. This means all screens.

- Touch grass. Literally! Getting outside in nature will help you to naturally reduce your screen use. Next time you head out for walk, leave your phone at home.

- Make screen time more fulfilling. You could do this by replacing mindless phone use with something constructive like learning another language, reading a book or listening to a podcast.

- Switch off before bed. Unfortunately staring at a screen before bed can make it harder for you to fall asleep and reduce the quality of your sleep. Make sure you quit scrolling and put your phone away at least an hour before bed. Instead, read a book!
