Summer is here and what better than a healthy smoothie?
I woke up today and desperately wanted to make a smoothie to make me feel better about myself. I didn't have much in my fridge but I found some avocados and immediately remembered how much Kourtney would sip on avocado smoothies so I decided to make one for myself today.
Avocados are a good source of fiber, low in total carbohydrate, and rich in monounsaturated fats. I opt for monk fruit sweetener vs sugar or stevia because it has no calories, improve your glycemic control and it is anti-inflammatory.
What you will need:
- 2 Avocados
- 2 table spoons of Monk fruit sweetener (or sweetener of your choice)
- 1 cup of Oat Milk (or milk of choice)
- 1 cup of Ice
- Optional: I added Four Sigmatic Elixir Mix for extra focus for the day
Pop all of this in a blender and you will have a rich healthy smoothie for the day.
