I know this might be super simple for some buttt I used to overcomplicate the heck out of homemade hummus. I have been making my own for several years now and will sometimes get store bought too. Homemade tastes 100% better in my opinion and it's soo easy!πŸ€—

The secret ingredient is a very GENEROUS amount of TAHINI! Plus, some of the water from the canned chickpeas (aquafaba). Aquafaba is also a secret ingredient as it makes the hummus more fluffy! Feel free to add any additional spices like paprika and cumin and herbs like dill and cilantro!

Ingredients:

1 can chickpeas

1/4 cup tahini

Juice of 1 lemon

2 small garlic cloves

Salt and pepper to taste

2-3 tbsp of aquafaba (water from chickpeas)

1-2 tbsp olive oil

**Add a splash of water as needed to thin out more

Blend all ingredients in a food processor or nutribullet! Enjoy with crackers, on a bowl, with veggies, and more!
