Timeshifter is one of my all time favs. It tells you when to and when not to drink coffee, go to bed, nap, expose yourself to sunlight for the few days leading up to your trip and the first few days of your trip.

It really eliminates that groggy feeling you get when you land in a new time zone.

Maps.me is my favorite offline maps app. Although you can do similar things by downloading a map area on Google maps as well! It's always a good idea to have a backup to online maps when travelling. Especially in remote areas or times when you aren't choosing to pay for cell service in a new country.
