PREGNANT AT 19

Buckle in friends because this one’s a doozy. I was fresh out of high school and had just started my first semester of college. I had just gotten out of a very toxic relationship because I’d found out he was cheating on me with a fourteen year old, mind you we were nineteen. When that relationship ended, I was absolutely distraught and I decided that I was gonna do whatever i wanted from now on. So to make myself feel better, I messaged an old ex of mine and one thing led to another and then a few weeks later I found out I was pregnant. He was the first person I called and his exact words were “either you get rid of it or I will.” I am an avid believer that a woman should have the choice for her body and my choice was to keep my baby. He obviously wasn’t too happy about that and completely abandoned me. To summarize the rest, I had a sweet baby girl who’s four now, her bio dad is not around, we met my now fiancee when my daughter was 1.5, he is in the process of adopting her and we have a one year old son.
