End of summer picnic in Central Park🍋

After a crazy summer, I’ve been craving some wholesome vibes. I called my friend Grace and we went for a little impromptu picnic in Central Park!

First stop: Mast Market in the Upper West Side, where we gathered chocolate, lemonade, and flowers - all the essentials for a great picnic obviously 💫

We walked through Central Park until we reached a shady spot in Sheep’s Meadow - the perfect place to lay out, catch up, and people watch. We recorded videos on the camcorder we thrifted of people flying kites and just living. Our other friends came to meet up with us and brought wine, so we stayed there until the fall air became too chilly and forced us home.

It was such a simple day in New York, no frills or anything fancy, but it felt amazing to be unplugged from everything. If you can, I highly recommend ditching responsibilities for a day with friends 🦢
