The best bak chor mee I’ve had so far?!

I’ve been doing cafe reviews so I’m here with a coffee shop food review today! I can’t forget the mee pok I had at my workplace frequently, so I wanted to post this and hopefully it’s a good recommendation to all of you bak chor mee lovers! ☀️𝘖𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴 : 7𝘢𝘮 - 2𝘱𝘮 𝘥𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘺

𝘽𝙖𝙠 𝘾𝙝𝙤𝙧 𝙈𝙚𝙚, $4 (+$0.20 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙮) : 4.5/5 ⭐️

Wow can I just say how good these noodles are 😩 ? There are so many ingredients!

♡ The pork lard is super crispy and fragrant, and if you are lucky the pork lard bits are hUge (forgot to take a pic).

♡ The mushrooms are cooked in a separate pot with lots of sauce so it was really juicy.

♡ Generous serving of minced pork and pork slices

♡ The fried fish ball is golden brown and really fresh

♡ The noodles were springy and cooked just nice

♡ The sauce was really savoury too, with an amount of spice which is sufficient for you to feel the kick but not to the point of burning your tongue.

‣ However, I did not rate it 5 ⭐️ bc I prefer less sauce and I’m a big fan of spice so this was not spicy enough for me

Other comments :

♡ From my observation, the 小碗面 ($6) is the most popular dish there! It comes with a serving of noodles with fish cake + fish ball + mushrooms, together with a mini steamboat with soup, minced and sliced pork and egg (if i’m not wrong). I will definitely be back to try that out!

♡ Other items on their menu include : abalone/scallop noodles, pork trotters and meatball soup!
