What to work towards as a YouTube Creator

I am announcing my intentions to grow on YouTube! 🤩 To myself + to the world: I am going to put myself out there and make the positive impact I know I can! 🥰

Here is an example of some goals you can be setting!

I’m sharing my goals here to keep myself accountable + hopefully inspire YOU: let’s grow together!!

These goals are actually the EXACT requirements to be a YouTube Partner, and eventually be eligible to earn money on YouTube via ads.

In each set of three, the bottom two are actually interchangeable as only one of those two requirements must be met. That’s why you can see if wrote a little “&/or” as a reminder that I don’t need to do both… but I can if I want 😎

When I saw these requirements, I wanted to achieve them asap and one of the most powerful ways to start working towards a new goal??

If you don’t already have it, make sure you have the YouTube studio app! This helps you track analytics 📊

Now- USE those analytics! Posts videos and compare results with different topics and hashtags.

Experiment with using lots of keywords in your video descriptions: describe your content in every way you know how so that if anyone is looking for info related to your topic, your videos will pop up!

Be consistent! You have to prove through action that you care about your subscribers enough to post consistently, whatever that means for you.

…Of course this can be challenging as we are not always feeling the same level of motivation each day, but if you want to grow, you have to put in the work!

That being said… let the work be fun! If it’s not fun, why are you doing it?! Don’t take yourself too seriously- whether that’s getting caught up in perfectionism or not posting the video you meticulously edited because now you’re worrying about how your precious creation will be received…
