3 Ways to Style Denim for Summer 🌿

Denim just never goes out of style and thank God! Although it is known for being a fall time staple like jeans and jean jackets, denim shorts and skirts are classic. I love how creative we’ve gotten with denim and had so much fun styling these pieces!

The first look involves a super popular trend right now - denim midi skirts. I know you have just seen this all over your feeds. They are being styled like crazy for summer but I can’t wait to see these styled come cooler weather. In heat like it has been, I just added a mini crop top sports bra and a baseball cap to make the skirt feel more casual. I kept this neutral especially cuz of the blue in the skirt. Pairing this with a tote bag and pair of sneakers makes me feel like I can run all my errands and still feel like an Instagram IT girl! ( top size XS, skirt size 0, sneakers size 6)

For outfit number 2,I took a great, genuine pair of denim shorts and decided to dress them up for a night out. The way an outfit like this works, is to invest in a pair of true denim shorts. My personal recommendations are BDG, Good American, or Levi. A quality pair of denim automatically makes an outfit look more luxury. I paired these shorts with a soft white gold bodysuit, making it summery and giving them a much fancier vibe! The nude booties make this outfit more sleek without taking from the textures of the denim and satin. This outfit is such a summer staple going out fit! This last outfit is one of my favorites ever. This dress can be worn in Every. Single. Season. Adding layers under or over totally change the look here. This dress is great for your corporate job, a night out, or more causal like it is here. I put a cropped band tee underneath to add an edgier, new textured vibe and white sneakers to bring it back down to earth. I used my mini coach bag which has both faux fur and leather to add a bit more flare to the outfit but still ties in with the neutral tones. Even wearing this dress alone gives that summery denim vibe and can be paired with so many different layers underneath! (dress size XS, t shirt size small, shoes sizes 6)

Next time you see one of the Kardashians rocking denim in a photo shoot or street style setting, take it as inspo and use it to elevate the denim you already have! Year after year, denim never goes out of style. It has been seen in purses, belts, and even boots but using what you already have in your closet can make just as much of a statement!
