highly raved k-beauty sunscreen under $12☀️

i was skeptical of trying SKIN 1004 again as i had a bad experience with their cleanser previously however the rave reviews and 11.11 deals were too good to pass up 😫 I got both of these during SKIN 1004's buy 1 get 1 free deal at $12 on shopee! so #WorthIt

PACKAGING:

I don't usually talk about packaging but when these first arrived the boxes were so aesthetic and you could see the effort that's in the small details, im a sucker for good packaging:3

I also love that this product comes with a PUMP, i feels way more hygienic and you won't be squeezing out excess by accident!

FORMULA:

✔️ Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum

as the name suggests this is a chemical sunscreen which is supposed to be hydrating and serum-like. I really loved how lightweight yet moisturising this felt, it was not heavy under my makeup and it worked well as a base to keep my foundation from looking dry and cakey.

✔️ Tone Brightening Tone up Sunscreen

this is a mineral filter sunscreen which blocks UV days physically therefore you notice it's thicker and see some white cast. this is supposed to give the skin a brightening effect!

COMPARISON:

1. texture

I preferred the texture of the water fit sun serum more as it felt lighter and it was very comforting to my dry skin upon application! the tone up sunscreen felt a little thicker and did not have that strong of a moisturising effect!

2. application

the tone up sunscreen has a pinkish tint and it does work as a base for brighter skin, i recommend this to fair skinned girls with normal-oily skin types. I think this is a great product if you're looking to go foundation free as it does help to improve the of your complexion due to the pink tint.

the water fit sunscreen on the other hand does not have any tint/colouration. It applies clear leaving the skin moist.

Overall i'm so happy with my purchases and i'm glad i scored a good deal during 11.11! Keep an eye out for any end of year sales for great deals on these 🤍
