HOW TO STYLE: Maxi Skirts for Petites from Zalora

Move aside miniskirts, it's all about maxi skirts now. This trend has been dominating the runways and street wear and i see so many variations of this trend. I love seeing people style the parachute maxi which has a functional drawstring but i wasn't really sure if it's for me since i'm really small at 154cm.

The hemlines seen at the spring/summer 2023 collections were those that traced the floor, therefore elongating the body.

This skirt is slightly flared at the bottom and it has a really nice cutting which "creates" the illusion of hips especially for girls with straighter hips like mine!

It is a light linen material, perfect for sg's weather and it has a drawstring detail for adjust how tight you want the skirt to be. Because i'm petite i wore it high waisted instead of mid/low waist and the length was just nice after wearing chunky dad shoes!

I got this as it was ONLY $10!! after stacking vouchers. It was such a nice finishing touch for my outfit and it fits way more than you think it can even though it's small!
