BEST SALTED EGG RICE? 3 Meals A Day 🍚

Lately, I’ve been obsessed with salted egg rice, thanks to my discovery of 3 Meals a Day! The first time I tried it was at their Sim Lim Square outlet, and let me tell you, any foodie would know about the ongoing debate between 3 Meals a Day and Taste Good. Honestly? 3 Meals a Day takes the win for me! Their salted egg sauce is packed with flavor, like they’ve distilled the very essence of salted egg. Portions are generous too—I always add extra meat for just $2, totally worth it! Oh, and don’t forget the fried egg, only 80 cents more.

Ever since my first visit, I’ve been going back almost every day... yeah, it’s that good! They’ve got other outlets in Hougang and Toa Payoh, and I’ve tried those too. I’d say they’re about 95% identical. The only difference? The other spots don’t serve prawn crackers on the side, and sometimes the rice is a bit harder. But other than that, everything is pretty spot on!

At $7.80, it’s such a steal. Hands down the best salted egg rice I’ve had to date. If you know any other salted egg rice spots I should check out, do let me know!
