Here’s a video to show you more of Barcelona’s fun and beauty, and a summary of 5 key things you must not miss (based on personal experience & research) 🥰

1️⃣ Art & Architecture

Aside from Gaudi’s architecture and houses that I introduced previously (such as casa mila and casa batllo), there are many more museums and galleries worth visiting in BCN!

There’re two museums I really liked:

• Picasso Museum

📍 Carrer de Montcada, 15-23, 08003 Barcelona, Spain

Shows Picasso’s evolution and has a collection of his early work during the blue period too!

• Moco Museum

Features modern & contemporary art, street art from rising stars as well as renowned artists such as Andy Warhol ❤️

2️⃣ Beach

Barcelona’s beaches are all connected along the coast line with famous ones such as Barceloneta and Bogatell beach 🏖

Aside from swimming and beach volleyball, here’re a few other things you could do:

• seek out the installations on the beach

• sunset cruises and coastline boat trips

• Scuba diving

• kayaking

• beach picnic

• visit the seafood Resraurants (quite pricey though)

3️⃣ Tapas & Bars

For food and drinks, definitely visit “La Rambla” and “Gothic Quarter”! 🤩 Here’re my top 10 recommendations:

🍽:

KINO (fast food)

Els 4Gats (afternoon tea)

Arume restaurant (not internet popular but really good!)

Golesa (Napolis food)

🍷:

Salterio (family owned, cozy vibes)

La Alcoba Azul

Paradiso (World Top 50💛💛💛)

Monk (same owner as the above)

Tandem Cocktail Bar (DIY drinks! Hidden gem)

4️⃣ Nature

Yes! There’s more to Barcelona than bars and restaurants and architecture … Go for a hike and take a break from the city!

• Carrer de Muhlberg: best sunset spot! Highest point in BCN 🌅

• Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus: take a tram up the hill for an amusement park and church ⛪️

• Bunkers: another great sunset spot and a 360 view of the city 🌇

5️⃣ History

There’re historical buildings located throughout the city, I’m not going to name all. But there’re a few underappreciated ones that could really blow your mind for those who want more quiet space:

• La casa museu amatller

• La casa rocamora

• La biblioteca Arus (library)
