Date idea • trekking at McRitchie & treetop walk 🌳

Let’s get straight to it - is the McRitchie TreeTop walk worth 3 hours of trekking for a date?

Not really … 😁

💚unless you both are huge fan of hiking and are sports lovers :) BUT if you go in from the right entrance, it is a pretty good trip!

🕢We went in from the Lornie Road entrance and took the Prunus Trail then Nature Trail, took us 1.5 hours of non-stop walking to reach the Tree-top walk.

🚩It was pretty tiring and I wouldn’t call it a perfect date because soon you’ll have to focus on walking and navigating and not enjoying the view of chatting (unless you’re willing to spend 4 hours there hehe)

If you choose this challenging trail (which is walkable), you will have to make a full turn and end at Lornie Road (essentially finish the Lornie Trail) 🤣

☹️you’ll see a private golf club at some point but you can’t leave through that (the security will chase you out); it’s an extra 10min walk from the golf club to the Lornie Road exit (at that point we were exhausted)

🌟Remember to bring water, wear sunblock & comfortable shoes !!! McRitchie is absolutely beautiful and the walk is pleasant but it’s big with little exits so you might feel stuck in there after a while :(((
