Horseriding in 🇸🇬 · Gallop Stable review

Decided to take on a new hobby and went for Horseriding 😍

📍There are two locations: Horsecity @ Bukit Timah and Pasir Ris Park; I went to the former at 100 Turf Club Road, 287992

• accessible by car (car park at the main entrance)

• blue line sixth avenue station is nearby

• there’s a bus stop about a 9min walk away

🏇Experience:

• 45min/class

• I learned how to interact with the horse, walk it, mount and dismount, steer the direction and tried rising and falling when it trots in just one class! It’s really good progress 😁 but how much you learn in one class depends on your performance:)

• The staff and trainers are friendly and professional

• There will be a compulsory stable management class if you sign up for a package where you will learn how to wash and groom the horses etc.

🚩:

• It is mandatory to own their staple’s T-shirt (though it doesn’t look bad, it is quite expensive)

• The lesson goes on if it’s drizzling, but could get canceled/postponed under extreme weather

• Remember to book the lessons beforehand and secure the spot as they run out of slots quickly

• No refund/cancellation (unless with MCs)

💰Pricing:

• S$428 + S$20 registration fee + S$45 T-shirt + GST -> 5 private lessons package

• S$10 more for weekend classes

• They let you take a trial lesson first then top up the difference if you want to get a package (remember to communicate that clearly! or they would assume you want to pay for a package on top of the trial class)
