Affordable Cafe Near Serangoon, NEX!

do you have a hard time deciding what to eat when you are at NEX? are you looking for a cafe nearby that's affordable and not too far away? joji's diner is the place you wanna be! joji's diner serves an affordable range of food and drinks as well as good music, definitely a crowd's favourite! once we arrived, there was already a small crowded that filled the tables of the cafe. Lucky for us there was still a booth seat available and we were immediately seated once the staff were done clearing the table.

i ordered 2 mains, the first was the all-star plate which was the amercian breakfast platter that was only $12.50! definitely worth the price as was left full and satisfied from my cravings. the platter came with pancakes, sausage, bacon, red beans, mushroom, potato, as well as scrambled eggs. They were not stingy at all with the portioning and was definitely worth every dollar! The dish was a 3/5 for me, however, as the potatoes were not too flavourful and there was only a slice of bacon, definitely could have been better.

the next dish was the chicken and waffles which i also really enjoyed! the chicken was not too dry and was still hot and crispy when served which really left me wanting more when i was done with my first bite. the juiciness of the chicken combined with a soft waffle base topped with maple syrup stole the show, it was definitely worth a try if you're headed there. The best part is that it was only $12.90! 4/5!
