This fairly new restaurant delivers not just exquisite flavours but A WHOLE EXPERIENCE.
🏯 Firstly, I’m a sucker for gorgeous architecture so I loved the fact that this restaurant was located in a 120 y/o building that used to be a traditional Chinese medicinal hall owned by the chef’s family. And she kept (but modernised) the oriental fittings while retaining the traditional feel e.g. small rickety elevator.
📖 Second, the 20 course tasting menu I had was based on a story (see last pic) and the theme of the story was conveyed through each course.
🍽️ And last but def not least - the FOOD. WAS. SO. GOOD. Looks good, tastes good, and fun to eat as well! My tastebuds are v much Asian so I loved that this was progressive Thai-Chinese food based on local produce.
