Been seeing THE HOT HIDEOUT mala on TikTok so much so I decided to try it and see if it’s worth the hype!

Went to the NTU outlet, and cause my parents weren’t mala tang fans they decided to get the Mala xiang Guo and collagen soup base while me and my sister got the Mala collagen soup (Malatang)

For the fried items, we only got the famous fried potato slices (2 potato among 4 people) it was quite nice and addicting with its crispiness and tastes rlly good when dipped in the Mala collagen soup BUT there was a downside as after a while when it’s no longer hot the potato slices get quite soggy and oily 😭

Personally, I rlly enjoyed all the bases that we ordered cause I’m the kind of person who love having options for food as I always pick what to eat based on my mood however my favourite base is definitely the Mala collagen soup cause it not overly salty, goes rlly well with the creamy scrambled eggs and eating it with either noodles or rice makes it super yummy! The Mala Xiang Guo is also quite good having a good amt of spiciness and numbness, the collagen soup is very comforting and tastes very homely like something I would eat if I’m feeling under the weather or when it’s raining ☔️

Side note: If you rlly like scrambled eggs, you should definitely add it to your Mala at The Hot Hideout!
