Taco Casserole

Taco Casserole is a perfect dish for any night of the week! Super simple to toss together, but also very filling and versatile!

Ingredients:

🌮Ground beef browned (how much depends on the size of the casserole you need, I personally used 3lbs because I make a large dish)

🌮 Taco Seasoning

🌮 Large Tortillas

🌮 1 whole jar of salsa

🌮 Shredded Mexican cheese

🌮 Doritos or Tortilla chips

🌮 Refried Beans (I used 3 cans)

🌮Sour Cream

🌮Chopped veggies and any other toppings you’d normally want for tacos!

RECIPE:

🔥 Preheat oven to 375

🔥Start by browning and seasoning ground beef to taste and sit to side

🔥In another pan heat up refried beans until warmed through thoroughly

🔥In your large casserole dish spray bottom with light layer of cooking spray and line with layer of tortillas until fully covered on bottom and sides if dish

🔥Pour refried beans in and smooth with spatula

🔥On top of refried beans add a layer of sour cream, salsa, and cheese

🔥 Add another layer of tortillas until completely covering bottom layer

🔥Dump on ground beef layer and even out

🔥Add another layer of sour cream and salsa

🔥Add on crushed Doritos or tortilla chips for topping and layer on rest of cheese (I usually add chips, cheese, then more chips just because I love an extra crunchy top)

🔥Place dish in preheated over for about 20-27 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted

🔥After removing from oven cover with your favorite taco toppings (we used lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and taco sauce) and ENJOY!🥰
