anothersoles shoes review - is it worth it?

I just bought my second pair of Anothersole brand shoes last Nov and would like to share my thoughts!

Recently been seeing more and more ladies of all ages wearing this brand, they had a buy 2 get 40% off promo so that could be working really well...

my first pair was back in May 2019. Saw it at Takashimaya or Tangs at orchard, can't rmb. It looks cute and young and not in an overly feminine way! (cos of the laces?)

Anyway it fit really tight and needed some breaking in (Around 1 month) and I did have blisters and cramped toes at the start. But after that it was super comfortable and soft :))

I wore it to work everyday (office job, not much standing/walking) for 2 plus to 3 years, before the soles were so bad that water would seep in...

And over time the leather became stiff so less comfortable and also too loose (The laces also wore out).

Overall I liked the looks and style of it but not very durable...

But like a year plus after I stopped wearing them (Can't bear to throw away though), I bought my second pair of the same model! I wanted to give it another chance and take better care of it this time!

Anyway, it's been 6 months and still looking good! I sprayed a leather protector on it once (Link below). And I keep it in my shoe cupboard everytime instead of leaving at my doorstep outside.

I would say it's worth the price if there's a promo! Although not the most durable, it looks nice and cute while still being professional, and its comfortable too!

Back then few years ago, this brand wasn't so common. But nowadays walking along anywhere you see many girls and even aunties wearing them... not a bad thing but kinda makes me feel it's a bit overrated? overpromoted?
