Skipping or Jumping rope has so many benefits but before I get into all the benefits, take a look at this amazing view in the park. It was so breathtaking & peaceful ☺️. The best place to get my cardio & peace of mind at the same time.
Okay let’s get down to the knitty gritty. Jumping rope has the ability to really challenge your whole body. I aim to jump rope at least 2x a week for 30 mins. 1 mins jumping , 30 secs resting sometimes I push myself to only rest for 20 secs, I be thinking I’m super women lol.
Here are some benefits of jumping rope:
1. It is heart healthy. It improves your cardiovascular system by increasing your heart rate so your endurance get better, it’s a win win.
2. Burns tons of calories, if you need a quick sweat that is effective, invest in a jump rope.
3. You get a full body workout , you’ll feel your upper body , legs, core, & glutes 😃 which is my fav part.
4. Improves your coordination & balance. If you have 2 left feet lol, this will help you coordinate how you move your feet & balance by repetition.
5. A jump rope is portable & versatile, you can take it anywhere with you. It’s not like you can pick up a stairmaster or treadmill on your back & take it outside lol.
