💜 How I Grew My Community 💜

As a new streamer, it can be daunting about where to start or how to grow. These are some of the lessons I have learned along the way.

💕Don’t chase the numbers! I see so many people play games that they necessarily don’t want or like to play. Just because they see other play that have high numbers. Trust me your viewers can tell if you don’t like what you playing. They want to connect with someone who enjoys what they do.

I started playing Apex cause I was like “a ton of people watch that game”. But I hated it! So, I just wasn’t enjoying my streams so how would my viewers?

💕Engage!!!! Girl talk what comes to your mind. Sitting there looking pretty will only get you so far. You talking actually getting to know who is coming in creates a community. The common interest can be the game but the talks will make it more. I talk to myself all the time so why not do it on stream lol.

💕 Don’t be afraid to be yourself. I repeat don’t be afraid to be yourself. I literallllly say like five dumb things per stream. I use to be self-conscious of it until my best fiend told me it made me real. People know that when they come in that I’m funny. I have ADHD so we are having like three conversations at once.

💕Create a community not just followers. A community will be the people that want to be there every stream. They are the ones that will support on those days that are hard.

The Genshin Impact community has been far but nothing but a loving group. They are always willing to help and we geek out about characters.

💕Just start. Who I am now, as a streamer, is not who I was. I had a no mic (had to use a camera mic), had a low quality camera and no lighting. All of those things will come in time. Example that you don’t always need the best, I had someone start the same as me and she has more followers than me. She has no camera but streams everyday. I can’t due to other things.

I might do another part but these are some things that I wish I knew. Hope this helps ✨
