1. Stretch morning and night: even if it’s just a few mins it’s so important to get your body moving to start and end your day, also giving you some time to reflect and process.
2. 30 mins of reading: reading helps us express and relate to ourselves and think about complex ideas. It acts as a release
3. Socialize: people who lock themselves away and stay alone are more likely to become depressed than those who socialize. It is important to get a little socialization in daily, even if you are more introverted
4. Get fresh air: being in nature has a positive effect on our bodies by reducing cortisol levels, muscle tension, and demands on our cardiovascular systems. It also contributes to a better night’s sleep
5. 9+ hours of sleep: during sleep, your body is working to support healthy brain function and maintain your physical health
