and why I rather ship through official logistics 🥲

Buying online is always a gamble, and I have my fair share of defective items buying from Taobao 🙄

My advice is that

1. A wooden frame isn't always necessary because it adds to the overall volume and the total shipping cost. It's also an intensive workout to pry them out.Try to get the seller to package them better by messaging them directly instead of always relying on adding on wooden frames for big furnitures. My sideboard, sofa bed and glass coffee table all survived without the frames.

2. A wooden frame isn't always foolproof, and items may still gets penetrated through 😵 we managed to get the seller to send out the replacement side panel of our vanity counter but it was hard work to get it taken out and installed.

3. It's much easier to buy and ship through the official logistic partner because the customer services by the platform and shipping partners are all in one place for easy communication. There is more guarantee for a refund, regardless whether the fault lies with the seller or the logistic provider. (No offence to 3pf supporters!)

4. Buying glassware is always a big gamble but at least it was refundable, and only 1 in 6 cups 🥹
