Due to the unconventional BTO 4 room layout that we opted for, deciding the aircon plan for our house was a pain in the ass for our house. 🥲

The solution that our ID came up with minimised exposed trunking by boxing it up into the false/ widened beam across the new living room. This will require the air con installers to come over twice, first to set up all the trunking before partition work and then a second time to install the compressor and split units closer to reno completion (additional fee alert!!)

Because of this arrangement, our reno work had to halt for two whole weeks 😞 to get the aircon trunking installation done before other works can continue. Our Aircon are from PR**M+ and this is a whole long angsty story on arranging the site inspection and installation 🥲 we might share another day.

Moral of the story is pls remember to check in with your ID early on the work schedule so you can schedule with other suppliers early in order not to hold up the reno process!

To save some cost, we still have exposed trunking in the bedrooms but those will be less of any eyesore and cheaper to replace should there be any issue. The master toilet trunking will be partially covered by custom-built mirror cabinet eventually 🙏🏻
