Site visit for quantity surveyor students in UiTM

Hi peeps!

So recently i went to Kuala Lumpur for a site visit. Quantity Surveyor (QS) students memang akan ada site visit either during diploma or degree. This is to ensure they can obtain a better understanding of site conditions and the work required, as well as gather quality information about the solicitation and familiarize yourself with the procuring agency. We get a chance to have a site visit at Project Hospital Universiti Malaya.

Items to use during site visit 👇🏻

• Safety shoes, safety helmet & safety vest are very important to use sebab kalau tak guna ketiga tiga ni, tak dapat nak masuk site tau. This is to ensure the safety of the occupants in site.

What we do at site?

1) Firstly, we have a site briefing in a site office. Banyak parties yang include in the project join the site briefing (macam project manager, architect, site officer, qs). Site briefing tu explain the design of the project, explain the function of the building.

2) Dah petang sikit around 430pm, we have a site visit. The parties that join us macam project manager, site officer will explain each of the process yang tengah dibuat waktu tu. Overall, we gain so much knowledge from our site visit hehe
