Hey travel fam! This week we’re working on our mobility and stretching it out. These poses are so great post workout, or whenever you need to give your body a little extra TLC!

It’s so imperative to stretch not only before your workout, but after too in order to help your muscles relax and recover quicker, increase mobility in your joints and improve your posture.

Try some of our fav yoga poses that we like to do and hold each pose for :30-:60. Really focus on lengthening and relaxing those tired or tight muscles with your breath work. We also included the benefits relating to each stretch below & in the photos!! Happy posing 😎✌🏼

1️⃣ Cat - Cow Pose - can help with back pain, strengthen back muscles, and improve balance and posture

2️⃣ Puppy Pose - Can help to alleviate neck, shoulder and lower back pain by stretching / opening up chest and shoulders

3️⃣ Sphinx Pose- helps to strengthen the spine, upper body, and core muscles, while also opening the chest and lungs

4️⃣ Cobra Pose - Opens the shoulder blades, neck, and collar bones. Improves spinal posture, flexibility, and alignment & improves digestion by stimulating the abdominal and digestive organs

5️⃣ Frog Pose - helps open up hips and stretches deep in the groin and inner thighs

6️⃣ Downward Facing Dog - helps strengthen the upper body, elongating the spine, improves circulation. A good stretch for hands, wrists & fingers. Walk out legs to stretch out calves and back of leg muscles

7️⃣ Pigeon Pose - helps improve the range of motion in the hips. It may also strengthen the muscles that support the hips and lower back & helps to reduce lower back pain
