3 different techniques to blend your foundation ✨

Hi girlies ! I used to struggle with making my foundation not cakey and looks smooth. But it turns out, cakey and comot throughout the day and it makes me so sad. Surprisingly, when i begin to understands how does foundation is actually work is not how much you apply the foundation, it’s how to apply and blend it. That’s what matters the most. It’s like you set up your face by baking it right? It is exactly what i meant for the techniques of blending your foundation.

These are three different techniques i used to do whenever I’m applying my foundation especially for those yang baru nak belajar macam mana nak apply foundation.

Technique 1

Apply your foundation with beauty blender. Make sure to damp your beauty blender first cause it makes the product applications way easier. It goes on more smoothly and ends up in an even, streak-free finish. Apply in dab motion, however do not rub the sponge while applying.

Technique 2

Apply your foundation with flat top foundation brush. It will not absorb excess foundation and make it easier to spread the foundation onto the skin. Apply by first light dabbing motion and buffering motion to blend it.

Technique 3

Apply your foundation with finger tips. This technique is used whenever needed for only minimal used of product. Basically for natural or no make up look. By using finger tips, dabbing throughout the face.

These are a very useful tips ! As for my own opinion, i would love to use beauty blender as it gives you moistures while applying it since it used a damp beauty blender. It makes it easy to adsorb. Let me know which technique you love the most !! ❤️
