JB cafe: Melbourne-inspired cafe / The Replacement

Finally went to the og cafe in jb. I was hesitant if I should visit here because I heard that the quality has dropped. However I have to say that I really enjoyed the food here. The Replacement Lodge & Kitchen is a lovely Melbourne inspired cafe serving breakfast, fusion cuisine, pastries, artisan coffee, and speciality teas.

Food:

✧ Pesto Cream Pasta 4/5 (RM30.90)

One of the best pesto pasta ive had in awhile, I’d def be returning here for this.

✧ Chicken Confit 4/5 (RM26.90)

The chicken wasnt as flavourful but it pairs really well with the potatoes and eggplants.

✧ Berries Punch 5/5 (RM16)

I love this sm. It's such a refreshing drink, and I instantly felt energized after drinking it.

There are numerous cafes to visit in JB, but this would be a go-to spot for me since it is so close to the checkpoint.
