Declutter 2024 with me! (Part 2)

We’re starting fresh with a mostly decluttered closet!

I have to say, I was dreading this one so I made it a goal to get it done next 😅

My main goal of sharing this is showing that anything that feels right is worth doing. The process isn’t always pretty but it can be achieved! I don’t think enough credit is given to people who struggle with mental or chronic illness and manage to knock a to do off the list. Being totally transparent here - I was not doing good mentally since like October 2023 and absolutely let my whole house go. It’s hard not having the motivation or energy to do something even though it’s the only thing I could think about.

Cleaning out my closet wasn’t on the top of my list, but staring at the mess made me feel even worse so, yeah, I put off dishes and laundry today but damn it feels so much better knowing a huge task is taken care of now

I also did a side task of organizing and down sizing my nail polish and hair dye collection (I may or may not be addicted to nail polish) which was hard but also much needed!

I was going to take a picture of the trash run but forgot

In all I had 2 and a half garbage bags, 4 boxes, a cat litter container and an old broken Rubbermaid gone.
