WHY THIS $360 SPLURGE WAS WORTH IT 😮‍💨🤔❤️‍🔥

At the end of 2022, I wanted to celebrate me getting through the year (ngl it was tough 🥵) so I splurged on an Apple Watch. At $360, it definitely isn’t a small purchase (for me at least), and it definitely also wasn’t a ‘need’ for me. 🤔

However, it was something that I’ve been thinking of for a few months so I decided to just go for it! About 3 months in, I’m still loving it and I’ve been wearing it every single day! I love the convenience of it. 😇

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐭

✧ Convenience - easy to look at notifications etc.

✧ Extra motivation - unleashes my competitiveness and makes me more determined to close all my rings every day 💪🏼

✧ So !! many !! functions !! - from pulsating alarms (on your wrist) to wake you up gently, to workout tracking, camera remotes and MORE

✧ Earn $$ - I sync my watch to LumiHealth and have been earning $$ ever since! 🤑

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐭

✧ Bad battery life 😞 - I have to charge it almost every day even when I put it in low battery mode

✧ Bulkier - it’s definitely bulkier and heavier than a normal watch, and it initially took some getting used to. It gets a little suffocating for me sometimes too, especially when I put it a little too tight.

Pros and cons aside, I also love dressing up my watch! I love changing up the straps to match my outfits, and I currently have two in addition to the strap the watch came with - a coffee brown leather strap and a silver milanese strap 😋

If you’re still on the fence, I’d say get it if you have the budget for it! 😁 It took me a while to save enough for it (from the time I started thinking about it until the time I hit check out on my Shopee cart…) but it’s something I found to be extremely useful after I got it! 🫶🏼
