I HATED facials, but this place changed my mind …

I’ve HATED facials all my life, till I visited this place 😍

I found out about Cloud9 on Instagram after seeing an influencer post about it, and finally decided to try it out. Since then, I’ve religiously gone back almost every month, and has also become #MyGoTo ! 👀🥳

𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫

One of the many USPs of this place! It’s so well furnished and decorated, with a very instagrammable waiting area, together with a super chill and cosy treatment room. 🤍 They have 3 beds (all in one room, partitioned by curtains), and despite it all being in one room, I’ve never felt uncomfortable or anything! But if you’re looking for more privacy this might not be a go-to for you.

Bookings are so fuss-free via their website! Just select your treatment type, date & timing and pay the deposit ($20, non-refundable) — and you’re set! 😮‍💨

𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐲𝐩𝐞𝐬

Cloud9 offers so many different facials for different conditions! The ones I’ve tried are (all at $98):

🧖🏼‍♀️ Bespoke Facial — My go-to! It’s supposedly one that’s customisable for all skin types, and they’ll handpick a serum that’s targeted towards your skin concern (hydration etc.) and comes with microneedling therapy. The microneedling portion is mostly painless, but I do sometimes feel a bit of pain when my skin is more sensitive.

⭐️ Korean BB Glow Facial — Something I’ve been trying out recently, targeted at skin radiance! Similar to the Bespoke one, it comes with microneedling, just that the serum used is a tinted serum. It geniunely makes my skin a tad bit more radiant after! ☀️

🍊 Vita-C Brightening Facial — I tried this once but unfortunately didn’t like it! 😭 It supposedly helps with brightening, with the help of antioxidant ampoules and derma-rolling. The derma-roller, however, was soooo painful for me (I have low pain tolerance though), so I decided to not choose this facial anymore after. 😅

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐞

All facials come with double cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, massage, mask & moisturiser+sunblock to end it off! All their beauticians are well-trained and generally pretty knowledgable, would always do a pre-assessment before the start of the facial to know my skin concerns better. Some would also recommend me tips on how to take care of my skin better! Extractions are more painful on some sessions compared to others, but I believe that’s normal (some days my skin’s more sensitive etc.) and it’s generally tolerable! On the whole, I always feel like I’m in safe hands whenever I’m there. 🫶🏼

𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭-𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭

At the end of every facial, they’ll provide a cup of hot tea 🍵 Idk what tea it is but it’s rlly q nice 🫢

Thereafter, just pay and leave!!!! No need to sit there for half an hour hearing them pitch their packages to you 😵‍💫… there’s absolutely 0 hardsell — but I do recommend getting their credits ‘package’! I usually get the 330 credits one (for $300), where 1 credit = $1 and they’ll just automatically deduct from your credits balance after every session! It’s v fuss-free and I don’t have to scramble dig for my wallet/phone to pay every time, plus it’s 30 free credits aka free $30. Bookings are also made easier bc of this - I just WhatsApp them whenever I want to book a slot and they’ll schedule it for me + no need to pay a deposit (they’ll put it on hold on my credits package I think) … so easy and fuss-free. 😍

Apart from facials, they do other services ranging from lash extensions, SHR and manicures - essentially an all-in-one beauty bar that’d have you at your most beautiful from head to toe 😛 I haven’t tried any of their other services so I can’t vouch for them, but I’m defo a fan of their facials!
