honest thoughts on national gf day 𓍢ִ໋🌷͙֒⊹₊ ⋆

national gf’s day was a few days back and i’m here to share my opinions on it!!

for my partner and i, it started off as a joke (i randomly sent him a tiktok 2 years back) and he got me flowers even when he was in camp. last year, he picked me up from school w flowers and took me out on a date. this year, we decided to keep it simple, i really didn’t expect such a big bouquet becz this wasn’t like any BIG occasion, but my bf still put in the effort to get me flowers, and even made me my favourite chocolate strawberries 😋

in my opinion, i think that on this day, it doesn’t matter or not if your partner celebrates it or takes you out on a date. every guy is different in their own ways and i would love to think that your partner will do things in their own ways to show their love, which may differ from others but that’s ok!!

for girls, i don’t think there’s a need to get mad at your partners if they don’t take you out. this day doesn’t determine if your partner loves you or not, just becz others are posting about it.

also if your partners don’t know abt such days, and you want this to be a “thing” in your relationship, then voice out!! it’s better than playing guessing games w ur partner and when he doesn’t realise it himself, it causes an argument between the both of you. then guys, you got to do smth and show your partner how much they mean to you.
