Hope August’s been great for y’all so far hehe 🫶 I’ve been rather broke from bar hopping lmao BUT on the bright side, PAY DAY IS COMING 🌞🌞

Anyways, I checked out the highly raved Sugarhall last night and I gotta say, I was rather intrigued by their concept and branding!!! Although not as “WOW” as I was expecting it to be 😗

🍭 𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗦𝗨𝗚𝗔𝗥 𝗛𝗔𝗟𝗟———

Hidden along 19 Cecil Street in CBD, Sugarhall is a haven for all rum lovers because they have such an extensive selection of rum cocktails & spirits!! Owned by the Jigger & Pony group, you may find the interior relatively rustic and reminiscent of steakhouses in NYC 🤭

🥭 𝗖𝗢𝗖𝗞𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗦 𝗪𝗘 𝗢𝗥𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗗 ———

While we were not exactly the biggest fans of rum, we decided to pay Sugarhall a visit for their creatively flavoured cocktails such as ones inspired by Bandung, Milo, Ribena, Kopi and more! 😆 Here are the ones we ordered:

📝 Luscious, Fruity & A Hint of Spice

💭 Out of all four drinks, this is by far the best in my opinion and definitely my favourite! Tastes exactly like Ribena but with a whiskey aftertaste 🤪

📝 Creamy, Smooth & A Touch of QQ

💭 I love my gin so of course I had to order this gin-based cocktail! It’s not as sweet as I thought it’d be (SHOCKING) and was actually acceptable, considering that it’s oolong-infused paired with flavours from winter melon & coconut milk 🥥 but definitely got diluted over time so you gotta drink it fast fams

💭 quite interesting because it taste like fizzy milo HAHA but if you’re expecting this to taste exactly like milo, I’m telling you it’s not exactly the same so don’t expect too much ok 👌👌 very spirit-forward!

💭 ok this was super yummy and it gave me mango bingsu vibe LOLSIE if you love pina colada, you’ll love this hehe it’s really creamy I loved it 🤪

🍞 𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦 𝗢𝗡 𝗙𝗢𝗢𝗗 ———

We only ordered their Indomie with Pork Belly ($18), Truffle Fries ($14) and Toasted Sourdough with Garlic Butter ($10) 🤓

GOTTA SAY THO, THE INDOMIE WAS SUUUUPER GOOD ALBEIT SLIGHTLY SPICY. But then again, $18 for indomie was a bit 😀??? Hahaha but ok la the pork belly was WORTH 🫡

And the toasted sourdough is a MUST ORDER! Wa I would finish all 4 pieces if I could eh LOL it was so soft yet so crispy 🫣 as for the truffle fries, it tasted pretty much like any other truffle fries I had outside— crispy & truffle was strong!!! (but not too much) 😙

Would I visit again? Hmm I don’t think I’ll specifically make a trip down to Cecil Street just for Sugarhall but if I’m around the area, sure! 🤪
