Located just 6 minutes away from Esplanade MRT station and 10 minutes away from City Hall MRT station, these bars nestled along Purvis Street are conveniently right next to each other / across the road so you guys can go bar hopping! 😆

Went bar hopping with #My9to5 friends (my bosses were the ones who brought us there!) and boy were we impressed by all three cocktail bars— service, drinks, vibes were simply immaculate 🔥

Ranked no.7 on the list of Asia’s 50 Best Bars , Nutmeg & Clove is known for its uniquely Singaporean cocktails, good vibes and amazing hospitality 🔥

Their latest menu, the Singapore Personalities Volume Seven, features an array of drinks that were inspired by local personalities like Benjamin Kheng, Phua Chu Kang, Zoe Tay, etc!! Super cool hehe 😆

When we visited, it was also coincidentally during a guest takeover by Jose Luis Leon, the lead bartender of Licorería Limantour in Mexico— a bar ranked no.4 on the list of WORLD’s 50 Best Bars 🤩 We tried all four cocktails from the guest shift and really enjoyed them all 😆

As part of their 9th anniversary, you guys can expect a lineup of guest shifts / events all the way till 28th May! 🖤

A bar focused on Japanese classics and ingredients, you can find the sister-brand of Nutmeg & Clove seated directly above on the second level of the shophouse (N&C occupies the first) 🤪

Apart from their already extensive cocktail menu, Last Word also features a themed menu that changes with the four seasons of Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter 🤩

They’re currently serving the Summer menu (till June) and features a variety of Stranger & Sons gin as base (the base will change every season!)☀️

In contrary to Nutmeg & Clove, Last Word was a really quaint, chill bar complemented with a Japanese-minimalistic vibe to it 😙 Would 10/10 recommend this place if you’re looking to just have a chill night out!!

Located further down the road is Tess Bar & Kitchen— albeit vastly different from the first two bars we visited, it definitely does feel cosier and more casual— just like home & more of a ‘dive bar’ vibe! 😌

You can also expect to see a huge variety of food apart from the assortment of award-winning cocktails by their bartenders 😆 and if you ask me, I’d say Tess Bar & Kitchen is a really great place to kickstart your night of bar hopping because y’all can have dinner here first (NEVER drink on an empty stomach pls) 🤤🤠

Didn’t get to try their food menu because we visited this bar after their kitchen closed 🥲 BUTTT their google reviews seem pretty great! Will definitely head back to try the food hehe 🤪

Atlas is known for its stunning interior and finest gin collections 🤩 Do note that they have a dress code though! I haven’t visited myself but will definitely do so soon because I’ve heard so many great things about Atlas 😆 Hope it doesn’t disappoint :P
