The impression surrounding Marina Bay has always been ‘expensive’, ‘atas’ and ‘tourist attraction’…🥲 tbh I don’t blame anyone who feels that way since Marina Bay Sands is literally made up of high-end brands and is actually a hotspot for tourists HAHAHA

But behind this facade, there’s actually so many wholesome things you can do!! With one of the best art galleries in Singapore and so many spots for picnic, you just need to have the right company for endless fun 🤍

My FAVOURITE museum in Singapore 🫶 If you don’t like visiting museums, visit this one. Trust me on this because they hold the most interactive and interesting exhibitions ever 🤩

I recently visited the ‘Mental: Colours of Wellbeing’ exhibition and was so pleasantly surprised at how interactive and unique it was!

There was this exhibit by Rachel Hanlon within the exhibition called ‘Hello Human, Hello Machine’ which allowed visitors to speak to a stranger from another country!! Since it’s a co-produced exhibition with Science Gallery Melbourne, the phone connected me to a stranger from Melbourne in the very same exhibition as I was (only difference was that they’re in Melbourne) 🤯

Apart from that, there’s a few other ongoing exhibitions and you may check it out via the link above!! If you want to visit the ‘Mental: Colours of Wellbeing” exhibition, they’ll be here till February next year 🤍🥳

Can’t travel to Venice in Italy? Well, I guess this is the closest alternative to a gondola ride 🤷‍♀️

It’s something you should experience at least once in your life for the lols HAHAHA my friend and I actually had fun 😂

The guy rowing the boat was super passionate and even offered to grab a picture for us (he’s quite pro also hahahaha he taught us how we should pose)!!!

Overall, I find it pretty interesting but not something I’d do again HAHAHA damn cute though.

💡 𝑻𝑰𝑷: Wear comfortable shoes because you need to climb in and out of the sampan 😀

Not sure if you can call this an activity but you should try Miracle Coffee by JJ Lin! If you don’t know who JJ Lin is (are you Singaporean?😳), he’s a Singaporean Mandopop singer based in Taiwan and is actually pretty damn popular around the world HAHAHA 🤪

Since I was around the area the other day, I decided to give Miracle Coffee a shot and ordered their signature drink, 𝗞𝗮𝘆𝗮 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱 ($𝟵) which I surprisingly enjoyed very much!

The layer of Kaya foam on top of the coffee was actually pretty great (tasted similar to LiHO’s cheese foam) and complemented the coffee really well 🫶 but remove the foam and you’ll get Starbuck’s cold brew HAHAHAHA

Will be back to try their filter coffees though! The pop up will only be here till 29 December 2022 so try it before it’s gone ✨✨

Looking to do something outdoors with your friends? You can now cycle from Singapore Flyer to East Coast Park!

GoCycling, a bike rental chain, opened a rental shop conveniently on level 1 of the Singapore Flyer and rental starts from $10/hr 😆

They are currently running a promotion— 2nd hour of rental is free on weekdays and 3rd hour is free on weekends!!!

Nah you don’t need to stay in MBS to head to the observation deck hehehe but of course you’d need to pay la 👀 If you’re on a date and want to bring your partner to somewhere romantic, MBS SkyPark would be a good place for a stroll!

Your tickets also comes with 5 digital photo files, and 2 ‘Magic Shots’ (animated/interactive short video) 🤪 Another excuse to take photo with your bb HAHAHAHA

Oh and you can also head to Ce La Vi for some drinks!!! 🥂

Just gather a few friends, hold a potluck (everyone brings one food/drink/snack item), bring a few board games and you’re up for a good time! :P

Best part? It’s free (except for the food you’ll be bringing) and opened 24 hours 🥳🥳
